On Thursday, September 15th at noon we have two great subjects that are of interest to the West Oakland business community.
First is the Introduction of the new West Oakland Specific Plan and the West Oakland Specific Plan Project Team: Elois Thornton, Art Clark, Morten Jensen and Dave Valeska.
Some businesses have expressed concern about possible future changes in land use (general plan changes) or changes in zoning, that the Specific Plan could recommend.
This is your opportunity to hear from the consultants and the city staff regarding the scope of the work that they intend to under take over the next one and a half years.

The second presentation is about the Development of Gateway Park, which is approximately 200 Acres at the base of the Bay Bridge. The plans for this park area are being formulated now.
This is your chance to listen to and interact with the Planners and the Friends of the Gateway (FOG)
